BOAO (Hainan), April 22 (Xinhua) A round-table meeting on China's Peaceful Rise and New Role of Asia opened here Friday morning as the prelude of the 2005 annual conference of Boao Forum for Asia.

    The representatives will focus their discussions on the hot topics including opportunities and challenges for China's peaceful rise, opportunities and challenges for Asia as a whole, influence of Asia's peaceful rise over the international society.
